The Choice for the Single Professional

How does it work and

other Frequently Asked Questions.

Questions for Denver Singles, Meet Denver Singles, Denver Singles Club,

Denver singles activities, Networking for single professionals

We invite you to check out other Denver local single's groups

and see how they answer your questions.

First of all . . .

We are not a dating service nor do we charge those high fees.  We've been around since 1994, so you know we're not a fly-by-night organization. We have seen over 60 singles groups come and go since then.  We have some pretty good media reviews and invite you to check those out.  And while many of our members have tried the on-line dating they find our concept a much nicer way to meet sincere singles.

Here's how it works . . .
For a registration fee of
(See Specials and save) for a 14 month membership (office is closed for several weeks during the year) in DINNER FOR SIX. (Join with a friend and each of you receives a $45 discount. After a personal interview and questionnaire to determine your preferences and interests, you become eligible to join. Three men and three women, all single and sharing similar age group preferences and interests are booked for dinner at a variety of unique restaurants.

What age groups work best?

Because we like to keep the age groups ratios balance we find that for men the best ages are 28-60, for women the best ages are 24-53.  Ages outside this range do work but you must first talk with the office to see if there are any restrictions.

Are there any discounts?

How do I know who my dinner mates are?

Upon arrival you are met by a DINNER FOR SIX host who introduces you and the other guests to each other on a first name basis. After introductions and confirming restaurant arrangements, your host leaves the six of you to good food, good conversation and a good time.

Where are the dinners?
Currently most dinners are in Denver with a few in Boulder.  As the Boulder/Longmont membership increases we will do more in the area.

How do I book a dinner?

Each week please call or e-mail your available dates for the following week by 10AM, Monday.  A reminder e-mail is sent on Thursdays.

We will confirm that you are still available for a specific date.  Once you have confirmed the date, along with other members, dinners will be arranged.  You will then be contacted at least 24hrs before the dinner with the dinner details.

“Dinner Invites” are e-mailed on Thursdays for the following week.

“Dinner Confirmations” are emailed for a Thursday dinner by late-afternoon on Tuesday or early Wednesday morning.  Friday and Saturday confirmations are emailed late-afternoon on Wednesday or early Thursday morning.  After members have confirmed, the details are arranged and sent to you.

“Dinner Details” are emailed no later than 3:30 the day before the dinner.  If you do not receive your details before 4:30PM the day before your dinner please call – emails do get lost.  Details include:  restaurant name, address, phone, driving directions, parking hints, fist name of dinner mates and host.

Voice mail is checked at noon on Saturday as the office is closed on Saturdays, please do not expect us to check emails on the weekends.

How is DINNER FOR SIX different from other single's groups?

Your Profile makes us unique.  Unlike many groups all your dinners are based on your age groups and interests preferences.  No more mismatched age groups.  Our staff meets you at the restaurant and introduces you.  The dinners are small enough where you don't feel intimated by walking into a large group of strangers, and large enough so you don't feel like you are being paired up with just one person.

How is DINNER FOR SIX managed?
DINNER FOR SIX is a professionally run and managed by skilled full and part time professionals. All dinner events are introduced by our staff. Some group activities are run by members -- when an activity is run by members there are no additional fees other than the actual cost of the event, i.e. league teams (softball, golf, etc.) pay league fees but no fees to DINNER FOR SIX.

Are there any other costs?
There is a $15 event fee per person for each dinner party, payable when you arrive at the restaurant. If you choose to do more than two activities a month you may prefer our $25 monthly dues program.  The event fee is some what off set because the restaurant will provide a complimentary item. You are responsible for paying the restaurant for your individual charges.

Are there any incentives to invite my friends to join?

Each time you introduce a new member to DINNER FOR SIX, your membership is extended three months. If you introduce three new members during your year, your renewal fee ($335) is waived.

Why six?
Six is the perfect number for a pleasant dining experience. Research has found that groups larger than six break into smaller units and fail to maintain a continuous conversation. Also, placing you in groups of six increases your chances of meeting someone special.

Can I dine often?
Yes, you can. DINNER FOR SIX arranges dinners Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays in a variety of locations. If you dine out often you increase your odds of making new friends.

Are there any group activities?
We offer group events (more than 6 people, with mixed ages) including cultural arts, outdoor activities, ski trips, wine tasting, group dinners and more (check our calendar page).

Is DINNER FOR SIX a dating service?
No. Our purpose is to introduce single professionals with similar interests, who enjoy good food, good conversation and a good time. And while we are not a dating service we average over 10 marriages a year.

What if it doesn't work for me?

There is a non-refundable processing fee of $60.  If we have not met your written goals and objectives you are eligible for a prorate refund (based on the number of dinners and activities you have signed up for) during the first 30 days.  Refunds offered only on full price memberships of $745.

that's where we are.

From Cherry Creek – Capital Hill Areas

Head towards downtown and turn left on Washington

Two miles past Washington and 6th Ave.

Turn left at the non working stop light (Bechtel North – may not be labeled) just before you would cross I-25,
