The Choice for the Single Professional PARTNERSHIP
We can help you build your own local DINNER FOR SIX partnership. We do not offer a franchise - franchise lawyer fees and regulations add extra expenses.
As with any business you need to determine your own desire and commitment to run a business. You also need to have a solid financial backing. You need to determine if your area can support this type of business and do you have the personality to make this happen.
What does it take?
In order to buy into our program, which includes the most sophisticated database, "DinnerMates™" management program in the industry, it'll cost $15,000 - $20,000 (based on payment program - could be higher) for the database management program "DinnerMates™;" 2-3 days of training in Denver; a Procedure Manual detailing how to start your business and everything you need to know and what to say.
With the DinnerMates™ Program we eliminated over 80 hours of work each week, based on 300 members. DinnerMates™, interfaces with the member's Profile, uses those preferences to help set-up the dinners, tracks the member's history, creates e-mails for members' availability, creates e-mail confirmations, gathers the restaurant information and creates the "dinner details" e-mail. It will also flag members who are not on e-mail. Members can be sorted by age groups and gender so you may create specific e-mails.
With the Procedure Manual you get all the information you need to start a business. You get all our scripts for talking with future clients. You get business forms, sample letters, sample ads, and what to say and how to set-up your restaurants. The Manual includes suggested office equipment and what software programs you should have. We'll teach you how to dominate your local internet market. Pretty much everything you need to have to get started and have a successful profitable business.
Minimum payment is set up thus: $4,000 to begin with, the next $4,000 is due at the end of the training and additional $2,000 is based on $15 per member per year until paid off. Residuals then begin for the next 5 years, again at $15 per member per year, after that it's $1500 per year. If you were to put up $20,000 by the end of the training, then you would skip the residuals and go right in to the $1500 per year after the first year.
If you start with a low membership fee of $395 and get 100 members your first year, you'll gross $39,500 not including the event fees. Or if you increased your fees to $595 and did 200 members you'd gross $119,000 plus the event fees.
What is not include is all your local expenses: Office, marketing, equipment, paying yourself, etc.
What size population do you need?
Realistically you'll need a general population of one million within a metro area.
Can you do it for less?
Maybe however you are paying us not to make the same mistakes we did. It took me a lot longer to be successful and I wasted a lot of money making mistakes. And remember I don't make any additional money if you are not successful.
Before you start any business check with your local SBA - they have reference material that will guide through the business set-up.
SBA – Small Business Administration and SCORECall your local SBA (Small Business Administration) office; they can walk you through setting up a small business in your area. Most SBA offices have SCORE (Service Core of Retired Executives) working with them often a SCORE person will be assigned to help you. Most SBA’s offer workshops in setting up a small business. They should be able to advise you to all the State, Federal and City legal paper work you will need to complete.
The SBA has recently updated their web site www/sba.gov. This web site will take you through all the government requirements, help you with your Business Plan and is just a wealth of information. In Colorado the local SBA publishes the “Colorado Business Resource Guide.” I would imagine that most states would offer a similar publication. Among the information from the Table of Contents include:
Starting a Business Checklist Business Entry Options Legal Structure and Registration Income and Property Tax Colorado Sales Tax Employer Responsibilities Bookkeeping Sources of Assistance A Guide to Choosing Your Advisors Business Plan Marketing Financing Options Liabilities and Insurance Trademarks, Copyright and Patents Important Contact Information
